To daddy

Daddy you mean the world to me,
Although i cant speak i know you see.
My loving smile always makes you happy,
Even when you must change my nappy.

I watch you do things and i learn,
You take a walk and then you turn.
You turn to see me watching you,
Even when you drink a brew.

I'll always be your little boy,
I'll always try to bring you joy.
I'll follow your footprints and learn new things,
I'll learn from you as my life begins.

I love you daddy from now to the end,
I love you daddy my forever friend.

I wrote this poem for fathers day to my partner from Our first son Dylan x
